INTRODUCTION OF CINKO LINKO

Cinco Linko is a tile placement game published by Big Potato Games.  In this game, players are trying to be the first to get five of their tiles in a row.  Each player will take turns placing tiles one at a time.  If every player is able to place all of their tiles without there being a winner, players can then begin picking up and moving their tiles to different spots.

MATERIALS

Cinko Linko comes with four sets of different colored tiles.  Each set contains 15 tiles.  This game does not come with a board and can be played on any flat surface.

SETUP

Players choose which color they would like to have, remove them from the storage peg, and place the tiles in a pile in front of them.

THE PLAY

Beginning with the first player, that player places a tile in the center of the playing space.  Continuing left, each player will place a single tile in such a way that its sides are touching another tile.  It may be placed beside any other tile.

If players run out of tiles before someone wins the game, they may begin picking up and moving them.  Players will take turns picking up one tile and moving it to a new location.  When moving pieces, it cannot be done in such a way that other tiles are left disconnected from the rest.  Tiles must always be adjacent with at least one other tile.

WINNING

The first player to get five tiles in a row wins the game.  The tile row may be vertical, horizontal, or diagonal.
