OVERVIEW OF FOOTBALL CORNHOLE

This classic lawn game can also be played during Super Bowl parties. Although you can certainly play this game with a standard cornhole set, what’s the fun in that? Instead, decorate your basic cornhole set to match the mood, or buy a specialized football one online!

SETUP

Set up the two cornhole boards facing each other, about 27 feet apart. If there are only 2 players, the game is played as an individual game. But football cornhole can also be a team sport if there are four players.

Divide the beanbags evenly between the two teams.

GAMEPLAY

Toss a coin or play a game of rock, paper, and scissors to determine who goes first. The first player or team must throw their first beanbag with the goal of getting it into the opposing team’s cornhole 27 feet away. Then the first player of the second team gets a try. Finally, the second player of the first team throws their beanbag, followed by the second player of the second team.

Each football beanbag that goes into the opposing team’s cornhole is worth 1 point.

END OF GAME

The first team to win 21 points wins the game!
