HOW TO PLAY HALLOWEEN MINUTE TO WIN IT GAMES
Most of the games below are individual Minute to Win It games. So, to play, write everybody’s name on a piece of paper or board and create a table with the names of the games you’ll play. The player who comes first in a Minute to Win It game wins 5 points, second place gets 3 points, and whoever manages to successfully finish the challenge within a minute (even if they don’t come first or second) gets 1 point. The player who wins the most points after playing all of the games wins the entire thing!
HALLOWEEN MINUTE TO WIN IT GAMES FOR KIDS
Let’s start off with the kids. These are the best Halloween Minute to Win It games for kids if you want to keep them entertained at a spooky party.
1. EYEBALL SPOON RACE
A spoon race is a classic Minute to Win It game you can play in any setting. But you can easily turn this classic game into a Halloween-themed Minute to Win It game by decorating the ping pong balls as eyeballs. Then, players must simply race from one end of the playing area to the other end without dropping the eyeball from their spoon.
2. GHOST BOWLING

In this game, players must start on all fours behind the starting line with a plastic spider on their back. Then, on the mark, players must race to the finish line. But if the spider falls, you’re out! The first player to successfully cross the finish line with their spider wins.
9. CAULDRON TOSS
Act like a witch in this game by tossing ingredients into a cauldron. Place a cauldron a distance away, and have the players throw as many ingredients (beanbags or balls) into the cauldron as possible. The player who manages to get the most ingredients into the cauldron wins.
10. CHOPSTICK BUGS
Want to test some motor skills and chopstick skills? Put a bunch of gummy bugs on a table and give each player a pair of chopsticks and a small bowl or plate. Players must race to get as many of the gummy bugs onto their bowl or plate as possible within a minute.
11. STACK THE GHOSTS
Within one minute, players must stack 10 ghost cups in a pyramid formation and then take them back down into one stack! The fastest to do so wins.
12. VAMPIRES HAVE A SWEET TOOTH
To play this Minute to Win It Halloween game, you’ll need to purchase some plastic vampire teeth for each player. Then, to play, players must move marshmallows from one plate to the other with their mouths while wearing these teeth! The player who manages to transfer the most marshmallows wins.

13. PUMPKIN STACK
This game is as simple as it sounds. Stack the mini pumpkins on top of one another, which is a lot more difficult than it looks. The tallest stack wins the game.
14. CANDY CORN CHOPSTICK RACE
Who knew using chopsticks could be so difficult? In this Minute to Win It challenge, players must race to move as much candy corn as possible from one bowl to the other.
15. WITCH’S BROOM RACE
Channel your inner witch with this Minute to Win It game. All players must have a broom in hand. They must use their broom to sweep a cotton ball across a room to the finish line.
16. GHOST FLOAT
For an entire minute, try to keep your ghost (a white balloon) in the air, using only your breath! Try not to get light-headed! There are no winners in this challenge, so whoever manages to complete the challenge wins a point.

Candy corn is a classic Halloween candy, but did you know if you stack them in a circular shape, you can turn it into a corncob? In this Minute to Win It game, players race to make the tallest corncob within a minute. The tallest corncob wins.
19. PUMPKIN RACE
All players stand at one end of the playing area. Make sure everyone knows where the finish line is before the race begins. Then, hand every player a mini pumpkin that they must balance on their head for the entire race! If you drop your pumpkin at any point during the game, you’re out!
20. MUMMY UNWRAP
In this Minute to Win It challenge, players will race to unwrap an entire roll of toilet paper using just one hand!
21. PUMPKIN SEED SPITTING CONTEST
Give every player some pumpkin seeds at the beginning of the game. Then, when the minute starts, every player must put a seed in their mouth and spit it! See who can spit it the furthest distance.
22. GUMMY RACE
Blindfold the players. Then, players must race to transfer gummy worms from one plate to another using only their mouths! The player who successfully transfers the most gummy worms wins.
23. FIND THE CRITTERS
Players must race to find as many plastic bugs hidden in a container filled with sand or rice. The player who finds the most critters by the time the minute is up wins the game!

Give each player a straw and a plastic spider. On a large table, designate an area close to the other end of the table as the target area. When the game starts, players must blow through their straw to move their spider to the other end of the table! But if your spider falls off the table, you’re out of the game.
26. SPIDER WEB TANGLER
In this spider-themed Halloween Minute to Win It game, you must first set up the game by creating a convoluted spider web across the room. Players must then untangle it within a minute!
27. BUILD A SKELETON
Give every player a black piece of paper and some Q-tips. When the minute starts, players race to build a skeleton on the paper. The most accurate and best skeleton wins! Have all the players vote together on their favorite to rank the skeletons.
28. PUMPKIN PONG
Set up 3 orange cups decorated as jack-o’-lanterns on one end of a long table. Players must throw ping pong balls into the cups from the other end of the table. The first player to get the ping pong balls in all three cups wins.
29. PUMPKIN PUSH
Each player has a small pumpkin which they must roll across the floor to a designated spot by the time the minute is up! Race against other players to do so.
30. BONES IN A BAG
You’ll need to prep for this game beforehand. To prep, put a candy of your choice in some paper bags, but make sure each bag has a different number of candies. Then, players must shake the paper bags to figure out how many “bones” are in each bag. Players must line up the bags in order from least bones to most bones. The player with the most correct guesses wins!
31. WITCH’S BREW RACE
Prepare some “witch’s brew” (green punch or slime) and place it in a cauldron on one end of the playing area. All players must have a small empty cauldron of their own on the other end of the playing area. Then, when the race starts, players race to the witch’s brew with a ladle and transport the brew to their own cauldron. The player with the most brew wins!
32. DRINK THE POTION
Prepare a “potion” or beverage of your choice – it can be alcoholic if you want! Then, give each player a big cup of this potion with a straw. When the minute starts, players must drink the entire contents of the cup using only the straw. The first player to finish wins.
33. MUMMIFIED MARSHMALLOWS
Before you begin, decorate some marshmallows as mummies. Then, players must pick up and stack these mummies using only chopsticks. Even if you’re talented with chopsticks, this is a lot harder than it looks!
34. GRAB THE BONES
Blindfold every player in a room with bones scattered everywhere. These bones can be popsicle sticks. Then, when the minute starts, players race to grab as many bones as possible while blindfolded.
35. SCARE THE GHOSTS
Paint some white paper cups as ghosts and stack 6 of them up in a pyramid formation on a table around 6 to 8 feet away. Players must then use rubber bands to knock down all of the cups!
