OBJECTIVE OF BABY NAME RACE: Write as many baby names as possible in alphabetical order.

NUMBER OF PLAYERS: 2+ players, but the more, the better!

OVERVIEW OF BABY NAME RACE

Baby Name Race is a great addition to a gender reveal party, especially if mom-to-be is still not sure what to name her baby! Get some ideas and get all players psyched up to play this fun and creative game.

SETUP

Simply give each player a pen and paper to write down their baby names. Make sure everyone knows their alphabet before starting. Alternatively, you can print out a sheet of paper with the alphabet on it already.

Set the timer for 9 minutes in honor of the 9 months the baby is in mom-to-be’s womb.

GAMEPLAY

Start the timer, and the game begins! Each player must write a list of baby names, starting with a name that starts with A, then a name that starts with B, and so on. Continue until the letter Z. After Z, the player may continue and write a baby name that starts with A once again and continues until the timer sounds.

END OF GAME

The player that manages to write the most number of baby names within the 9 minutes wins the game!
