Caption The Photo is a fun game to set up and play throughout the party. All you need to play this game is a bunch of printed photos of the guest of honor and some Post-it notes, and you’re good to go!

CAPTION THE PHOTO gameplay

To set up this game, print out 5-10 different photos of the guest of honor. Try to get a variety of photos, including selfies, travel photos, and candid pictures. Put up the pictures on a wall with tape with ample space underneath each picture for the potential captions.

Then put some Post-it notes and pens by the wall for guests to come by to write funny blurb underneath the photos. Throughout the party, let everyone know that there is a caption wall so that every guest can participate with their creative captions!

Once everyone has had a chance to write captions for each of the 5-10 printed photos, the guest of honor gets to choose the best caption for each photo. Each best caption is worth one point.

END OF GAME

The player with the most points (in other words, has the most “best captions”) wins!
