OVERVIEW OF A DOOM ON YOU

The world is coming to an end! To ensure survival, you must avoid natural disasters, defeat powerful enemies, and be the last player with food! Bribing, strategizing, and being selfish are all important things to do while playing or else doom on you!

SETUP

To begin setup, give each player ten food tokens. Sort through the cards, removing all DOOM cards from the deck. Shuffle the rest of the cards and deal six cards to each player. The DOOM cards are then shuffled back into the deck. The deck may then be placed in the middle of the playing area, face down, to form the Draw Pile.

The game is ready to begin!

GAMEPLAY

Gameplay alternates between Prep rounds and Attack rounds until only one player remaining has food. Each player gets one turn per Prep round. Going around the group, each player will draw up to three cards from the Draw Pile. IF a DOOM card is drawn, it must immediately be played. This step is skipped after the initial setup, because players already have six cards in their hand. Each player places three of their animal cards on their animal pile.

In the Attack round, players take turns being attacked. When it is your turn, all of the other players have the chance to attack you. Attacks are made by sliding animal cards towards your animal cards. This is how players declare the attack.

When all of the attacks have been declared, you have to draw one card from the Draw Pile. If it is a DOOM card, then it must immediately be played. If you draw a Battle card, you may choose to play it or keep it in your hand.

You may then choose how you will defend against the attacks made on your animal pile. You may use your Animal cards or your Battle Cards. If you cannot defend against an attacking animal, then the attack is successful, and the opponent takes the number of tokens found on their animal’s card.

What you need to defend against attacks are located on the attacking cards. After each player has been attacked, another Prep round begins. Gameplay continues in this manner until only one player has food tokens remaining.

END OF GAME

The game comes to an end when there is only one player remaining with food tokens. If a player has no food tokens left, then they are out of the game. The last player wins the game!
