OVERVIEW OF DRAWING WITHOUT DIGNITY
Drawing Without Dignity is a drawing game that completely abandons any sense of… well, dignity, duh. Players sketch out outrageous prompts while their teammates try to guess them before time runs out. But it’s not just about your own team. Other teams can jump in and steal points. SETUP FOR DRAWING WITHOUT DIGNITY
Before things spiral out of control (and trust us, they’re about to!), here’s how to get the game ready:
- Divide players into teams (2+ players per team, up to 4 teams)
- Each team receives:
- 3 Cockblock cards
- 1 category reference card
- Paper and pencils
- Place all content cards face down in a pile within reach
- Roll the die to decide which team goes first
That’s it. You’re ready to start playing Drawing Without Dignity!
HOW TO PLAY DRAWING WITHOUT DIGNITY
The game is played in rounds, with teams earning points by guessing drawings or stealing them. So, without further ado, here are the rules for Drawing Without Dignity.
STARTING A TURN
On your team’s turn:
- Choose one player to be the artist
- Roll the die to determine the category
- Draw a content card and find the word/phrase that matches the number rolled
- Start the timer
Now… start drawing.
DRAWING & GUESSING
As the timer goes, the artist has to sketch the prompt while their teammate guesses. Remember: No talking, writing words, using numbers, or acting
If your team guesses correctly before time runs out, you keep the card as a point. And your team goes again with a new artist (AKA one of the guessors in the previous round).
If your team does not guess correctly, play moves clockwise to the next team.
STEALING POINTS
If your team isn’t able to guess the answer before the timer runs out, any team can shout out the answer. The first team to say it correctly wins the point. But keep in mind that each team only gets one guess.
COCKBLOCKING
Think it’s chaotic already? Well… this is where things get even more aggressive.
If you think you know another team’s drawing, yell “Cockblock!” or play a Cockblock card. When you cockblock, your entire team can jump in and guess freely during their turn. If you guess correctly before the other team does, you steal the point.
Make sure to discard the Cockblock card after this round.
Each team can hold up to 3 Cockblock cards at a time, so use them wisely.
Continue play normally, with play moving clockwise from the team that got cockblocked.
ORGY ROUND
If a team rolls a 6, an Orgy round begins.
Here’s what happens:
- Every team selects an artist.
- Roll the die again (ignore 6s) to pick the category.
- All teams draw the same prompt at the same time.
- Everyone guesses at once.
- Chaos ensues.
First team to guess correctly wins the point and takes one Cockblock card from the discard pile (but teams can only have a maximum of 3 Cockblock cards)!
If the original team wins, they take another turn. If not, play continues clockwise.
END OF GAME
There are two ways to end a game of Drawing Without Dignity:
STAMINA MODE
Play as long as you want. When you’re done, the team with the most points wins.
QUICKIE MODE
The first team to reach 10 points wins.
