OVERVIEW OF MEMORY BANK

Memory Bank setup

Ramp up the nostalgia at the party by playing Memory Bank. This game will force everyone to relive their favorite memories of the retiree, making everyone talk and reminisce about the “good old days” or perhaps even something that happened earlier that day!

GAMEPLAY OF MEMORY BANK

Memory Bank gameplay

Each player must write a random memory for the Memory Bank starring the guest of honor on an index card. This can be a favorite memory, a funny memory, or anything else regarding the retiree. Examples of memories could be:

  • When [retiree] pranked me on April Fools Day
  • When [retiree] invited me over for Thanksgiving
  • When [retiree] missed his flight for a business trip
  • When [retiree] got food poisoning at work and I had to take him to the ER

Once the memory has been written down, the index cards must be folded in half and put into a bowl or container. Mix up all the index cards.

A random player must draw an index card from the Memory Bank bowl or container and read the memory out loud. The retiree must then try to guess who wrote the memory. If the guess is incorrect, the player that actually wrote the memory reveals themselves!

END OF GAME

The game ends when all of the memories have been read out loud, and the memories have been linked with their owner.
