OVERVIEW OF READ MY LIPS
An incredibly simple game to play on FaceTime, Read My Lips is something you can play if you are running out of things to say while on the phone with your friends and family. But by playing this game, you can still ensure you have quality time with your loved ones without anyone getting too bored.
GAMEPLAY
Read My Lips is one of those games that you can easily play without even knowing the rules. The name of the game is hint enough! But just in case you want to know how to play, all you need is for the first player to hit that mute button. Once the mute is on, the first player must say a word or common phrase and start the one-minute timer.
Not sure what word or phrase to say? No worries! Here are some examples to get your brain turning:
- Chihuahua
- Brush your teeth
- Dragon
- Fly a plane
- Pedicure
- Drink some water
- Follow your dreams
- Salt
As you can see, there’s really no limit to what you can say! But try to stay away from ridiculous phrases that may be harder to get.
The other players must try to guess the word or phrase within a minute. The speaker can repeat the word or phrase as many times as they want, but they cannot gesture! However, the speaker can answer some questions by nodding or shaking their head if the other players aren’t getting close to the answer.
END OF READ MY LIPS
The player who manages to correctly guess the word or phrase within one minute wins the round! Then, the winner gets to be the speaker and must mute themselves, say a word or phrase, and start the one-minute timer.
