SHOTGUN ROAD TRIP GAME

OBJECTIVE OF SHOTGUN: The objective of Shotgun is to be the player with the most points when the game comes to an end.

NUMBER OF PLAYERS: 2 or More Players

MATERIALS: Playing Cards

TYPE OF GAME: Road Trip Card Game

AUDIENCE: Ages 8 and Up

OVERVIEW OF SHOTGUN

Shotgun is an awesome game that includes bonding, random challenges, and lots of laughs. Players have the option to make playing cards before they head out on their road trip. These cards should include a variety of prompts! You will be quickly surprised at how deep or hilarious the discussions lead, depending on the audience.

SETUP

To setup for the game, simply shuffle all of the cards. The player in the passenger seat will become the card reader for the first round of gameplay. The game is then ready to begin.

GAMEPLAY

To begin the game, the card reader will draw a random card from the deck. They will read the card aloud to the group. Some cards may include challenges that the players must complete in order to win points, while others may include discussions that the players can have in order to win points. Some of the discussions are ridiculous, so players can choose to sit them out, but they then forfeit their points in the process.

After the card reader has read the card, and all of the points have been distributed, the role of card reader will rotate to a different player in the group. Each player, excluding the driver, will take a turn being the card reader before a player has to do it a second time. The game continues in this manner until all of the cards have been read or the trip ends!

END OF GAME

The game comes to an end when all of the playing cards have been used. The players will then tally their points to determine the winner. The player with the most points, wins the game.
