OVERVIEW OF SUPER BOWL TRIVIA

Do you think you know everything there is to know about football and the Super Bowl? Then, test your knowledge with a fun trivia game with your friends and family. You can play this individually or in small groups.

SETUP

Before starting the game, the host must prepare a list of questions. This can be done during the Super Bowl game or, for those that like to be uber-prepared, before the party even begins.

There’s no set number of questions the host needs to write and get the answers for, but for a fun game, try to write at least 20 (5 to 10 for each category of questions). If you want to incorporate images into your questions, you can even create a fun PowerPoint!

Here are some example categories:

  • Guess the player by their nose
  • Super Bowl history
  • Finish the half-time show lyric
  • Match football teams to their mascots

When the questions and categories are prepared, hand out pieces of paper and a pen to each team to get started.

GAMEPLAY

The host must announce each question to the entire group one by one, giving each team some time to answer the question before moving on to the next one. The teams have 1 minute to discuss each question with their teammates. Then, they must write down their final answer on their piece of paper.

When the questions from the first category are all read out, the host announces the answers to the question. Then, the host must move on to the second category until all questions have been read out. And so on.

Each correct answer is worth 1 point.

END OF GAME

Tally up all the points for each team. The team with the highest score at the end of the game wins!
