THE PRICE IS RIGHT BABY SHOWER GAME

OBJECTIVE OF THE PRICE IS RIGHT: The objective of The Price is Right is to have the closest guess to the correct price of a variety of baby items. 

NUMBER OF PLAYERS: 3 or More Players 

MATERIALS: Photos of baby items, small gifts, and pen and paper for players 

TYPE OF GAME: Baby Shower Party Game 

AUDIENCE: Ages 12 and Up 

OVERVIEW OF THE PRICE IS RIGHT 

The Price is Right is the perfect game for those players who like a good guessing game. As players are shown a variety of baby items, they will attempt to guess how much that baby item costs. At the end, the prices are reviewed and discussed. The player with the closest guess, wins the game!

SETUP 

To setup the game, print off photos of a variety of baby items. These items may come from the parents’ registry, or they could even come from a baby catalog. Ensure that each player has a pen and paper. If you choose, you are able to print off outlines for the shower, like the one below.  

GAMEPLAY 

The host will show a baby item, explaining what it is if need be. When the host shows it, the players will write down what price they think the item costs. Item after item, the same thing will be done in order to get plenty of guesses.  

Once all of the items have went through, the host will go back over the items and their prices. With each item, the players may state what they said their guess was in order to determine who was closest among the group. 

END OF GAME 

The game comes to an end once the price of all of the baby items that are on hand. Whoever guessed the closest price to the most items, wins the game.
