An egg and spoon relay race will get everyone to run (or rather, speed walk) as fast as possible while holding an incredibly delicate object. This will test every player’s coordination and speed. Expect eggs to fall off spoons and break, so either bring a large carton of eggs or use fake eggs for this game for a less messy alternative!

SETUP

Designate a start line and a turnaround point. The turnaround point should be marked with a chair. Then, divide the group into two teams and have each team line up behind the start line. Each player must hold a spoon with an egg balanced on top.

GAMEPLAY

At the signal, the first player from each team speed walks to the turnaround point with their egg carefully balanced on their spoons. At the turnaround point, they must go around the chair before heading back to the start line. When the first player of a team makes it back to the start line, the second player on the team must do the same. And so on.

If an egg falls off the spoon at any point in the game, the player must stop exactly where they are and put the egg back on the spoon before they can resume the relay race.

END OF GAME

The team that completes the relay first, with all players successfully having returned to the start line, wins the game!
