OVERVIEW OF BEAN BAG LADDER TOSS

Bean bag Ladder Toss is an exciting corn hole-type game where you earn points by throwing bean bags to specific parts of the playing area.

If you can play cornhole your can play bean bag toss game! While most bean bag toss game rules use the same board as cornhole boards this game is actually played vertically!

As long as you have a ladder and a few bean bags in your storage, you can easily set up this fun game in your backyard. Both adults and kids alike will enjoy this game at your next backyard bbq!

SETUP

Put the ladder on one end of your yard, and use a pen and paper to assign scores to each rung of the ladder. For example, you can designate the area below the bottom rung 10 points, the area below the top rung 30 points, and the area below the second to the bottom rung 50 points. The scoring does not have to make sense. In fact, the more random, the better!

Place the bean bags around 30 feet away from the ladder and mark a throwing line and a foul line with a chair or a rope.

GAMEPLAY

Divide the players into two teams. If there was a previous round winner they get first throw.

The first player of Team A must throw their bean bag towards the ladder so that the bean bag passes between two rungs. A score is given according to where the player threw the bean bag. For example, 10 points for throwing the bean bag below the 10-point rung. Then, the first player of Team B gets a turn to do the same. The two teams alternate play until all the bean bags are thrown. During the game play the throwing team stands on the same side of the throwing line when performing a bean bag toss.

END OF GAME

Calculate the points for each team by adding up the points accumulated by each player of the team. The one team with the most points is the winning team!
