OVERVIEW OF FRIENDLY FEUD- MOTHER’S DAY EDITION

Friendly Feud is the perfect game for those families who like a little friendly competition. Who is best at answering exactly like Mom. Players will attempt to answer questions that have already been answered by their mother, trying to guess her answers, not their own. Who knows Mom best? It’s time to play and see!

SETUP

To begin setup, the players will shuffle the cards and choose teams. Teams must consist of at least two players, and Mom will take the role of the host. If the players do not have cards, then they may create their own question cards, and Mom will then write her top four answers. After all, this day is all about her.

The players will step on either side of Mom, with their team beside them. Each team must choose the order that they will play in. Once chosen, the game is ready to begin.

GAMEPLAY

The game is played over the course of two rounds. Each round consists of each player getting to answer at least once or a certain number of cards have been answered, depending on the players’ choice. The host will read the question. Once the question has been completely read, the current player will “buzz in” by making a loud buzzing noise. The first player to buzz in can answer the question.

Once the player answers, the opposing player will get to answer. Whichever player has the best answer, depending on the order of the four answers that Mom wrote down, gets to choose to pass or play. If they choose to pass, the other team will get an opportunity to answer. Once they answer all of them, earning all of the points, or they get three strikes, the other team will get a chance to answer.

The game will continue in this manner, with each player taking turns answering questions as they think Mom would answer them. Mom will tally points as the game progresses. Once two rounds have been played, the game comes to an end.

END OF GAME

The game comes to an end after two rounds of gameplay. The host will tally the points of the teams, and the winner is determined. Whichever team has the most points, wins the game!
