TYPE OF GAME: Hand Management Card Game

AUDIENCE: Ages 8 and Up

OVERVIEW OF MOST WANTED

Throughout Most Wanted, the players will act as bandits competing to become the most notorious outlaw in the land. Players may play as honest individuals, or they may tell the occasional white lie to get them out of trouble, but as long as nobody catches them, it is not a problem, right? Players may choose to get their life right and repent at church for all of their distasteful deeds, and they may have to work a hard day’s work to pay their bail. The story is up to you.

SETUP

To begin setup, place the Scoreboard in the center of the playing area. Beside it, place the Bags of Money and the Action Cards. Ensure that the correct side is facing up for the Action Cards. Each player will receive and Outlaw Character Token and Player Aid that they will place in front of them.

The cards are then shuffled and placed face down beside the board, creating the Draw Deck. Each player is dealt five cards, all face down. The youngest player will become the starting player. The game is then ready to begin.

GAMEPLAY

During their turn, the players will choose one action that they wish to complete. The actions that are available to them are present on the Action Cards that are showing. There are certain actions that require the assistance of other players. Once a player has completed their action, the gameplay continues clockwise around the group.

After a player finishes their turn, the points are tallied by moving the Character Token forward on the Scoreboard. The cards that were used during that turn are discarded into the discard pile, which is found beside the Draw Pile. The players who took part in the action should ensure that they have five cards in their hand, drawing as many cards as they need to get there.

On the Action Cards, the rules for the actions are found. It determines how many cards the player is permitted to use when completing that action, the name of the action, the description, and who is able to participate. The player must ensure that they follow these rules when completing the action, and the other players must also ensure that they are doing so.

If the players are unable to complete their chosen action, then they may end up in jail. At this point, they are forced to pay bail to the General Supply if they wish to be released, and the amount depends on how far the player has progressed along the Scoreboard. The players must move one space back on the scoreboard for ever bag of money they do not have to pay bail, making them a more tasteful individual.

END OF GAME

The game comes to an end when a player reaches the Most Wanted space on the Scoreboard. The first player to do so, becomes the winner!
