MOTHER’S DAY SCAVENGER HUNT

OBJECTIVE OF MOTHER’S DAY SCAVENGER HUNT: The objective of the Mother’s Day Scavenger Hunt is for Mom to find as many gifts as possible.  

NUMBER OF PLAYERS: 2 or More Players 

MATERIALS: Gifts and a Checklist 

TYPE OF GAME: Party Game 

AUDIENCE: Ages 5 and Up 

OVERVIEW OF MOTHER’S DAY SCAVENGER HUNT 

The Mother’s Day Scavenger Hunt is a phenomenal way to make this day all about Mom! She will quickly feel like the center of attention as she searches for a variety of gifts that everyone else has hidden for her. Who couldn’t be happy as they find thoughtful gifts hid everywhere in their home! As she searches, other players can give her hints if they want. Afterall, she does already have a checklist! 

SETUP 

To setup for the Scavenger Hunt, everyone, excluding Mom, will hide gifts around the home. These can be homemade gifts or store-bought gifts. The players will then make a checklist of all of the gifts that have been hidden. It is also a good idea to make a cheat sheet of where the gifts are hidden, so that none of them are lost! 

GAMEPLAY 

Once all of the gifts are hidden, Mom may be given her checklist and begin her search! The players may choose to put a time limit in place before they give her the hiding places, or they may allow her to look until she finds them all! The game continues until all of the gifts have been found.  

END OF GAME
