OVERVIEW OF PAPER TELEPHONE

Paper telephone is a fun camping game that can be played in any setting. A mix between Pictionary and the game telephone, paper telephone is sure to have campers laughing out loud by the end of the game!

SETUP

To begin, each player has 1 piece of paper and 1 pen. All players write one phrase at the very top of their paper. Don’t be afraid to be as creative as you’d like!

GAMEPLAY

Each player passes their paper to the player on their right, and the game begins!

Using the phrase written at the top of the paper, each player attempts to interpret the phrase in the form of a drawing. When everyone has drawn their picture, each player folds down the phrase so that only the drawing is visible. Then the papers are passed onto the players to the right once again.

In this round, the players try to guess the original phrase and write it down. Then the players fold down the drawing so that only the new phrase is visible, and the pieces of paper are passed down to the right again.

END OF GAME

The game continues until the pieces of paper reach their original owners or until a predetermined number, but it must end with a phrase, not a drawing. Each player reads out the final sentence and slowly reveals the drawings and prior phrases until the original phrase is revealed.
