OVERVIEW OF RAINBOW RACE
A scavenger hunt with a twist, Rainbow Race is one of the best games to play on FaceTime. While players of all ages can play, this is a particularly fun game to play with your little ones. Whether you are away on business and want to bond with your child or your child is having a FaceTime playdate with a friend, this game is perfect.
GAMEPLAY
Just like the rainbow, you’ll need to start Rainbow Race with the color red. Then quickly count down from three, and all players must run around their house to find an object of that color. There are many variations of this simple game, but there are two main ways to play:
- The first player to find an object of the chosen color wins the round and a point.
- The player to find the most objects of the chosen color wins the round and a point. If you play this second variation, set up a timer for one minute (or however long you want)
You can play however you please! When the first round is over, move on to the color orange and continue playing through all the colors of the rainbow: yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. Alternatively, you do not even have to go through the rainbow colors one by one. Instead, you can pick any color you want – even white or black!
END OF GAME
When you are done playing as many rounds as you want with as many colors as you choose, tally up all the points. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins!
