OVERVIEW OF ROAD TRIP I SPY

Road Trip I Spy is a classic game that has been played on road trips for years! Players will randomly choose something in their surroundings. They will then say “I Spy something…”, finishing the statement with a quality about the object. The other players will then attempt to guess the correct object, but be warned, each player only receives three guesses before they lose!

SETUP

To setup the game, simply begin playing and state the rules to the other players.

GAMEPLAY

To begin gameplay, the players will choose the first player. The first player will choose an object that is within sight of all other players. The player will then choose one word to describe the object. An example statement is “I spy something red”.

The other players will then take in their surroundings and guess at what the object could be. Each player only has three guesses before they are no longer allowed to answer. If a player gets the object correct, then they score a point. If no players get it correct, then the spy will earn one point.

Players should ensure that they are actively keeping up with their score throughout the course of the game. If the players do not want to play with a winner, then the players should not worry about points and scores.

END OF GAME

The game comes to an end when the road trip ends. The players will tally their points, ensuring that nobody is cheating. The player with the most points, wins the game!
