SPIKEBUOY POOL GAME

OBJECTIVE OF SPIKEBUOY: The objective of Spikebuoy is to be the first team to score eleven points. 

NUMBER OF PLAYERS: 2 or More Players 

MATERIALS: Spikebuoy Net, Ball, and Weight  

TYPE OF GAME: Pool Party Game

AUDIENCE: Ages 5 and Up 

OVERVIEW OF SPIKEBUOY 

Spikebuoy is the perfect game for pool days with people who love a good game of Spikeball. Players will play on teams, and they should ensure that they choose their teammates carefully. Games are fast-paced, intense, and don’t stop once they begin. In the blink of an eye, the game will be over! 

SETUP 

To setup the game, connect the weight to the Spikebuoy Net. Place the net in the middle of the playing area in the pool. Players should then circle around the net and choose who will be the first to play. The game is then ready to begin. 

GAMEPLAY 

The game is placed over the course of rounds. The first team will begin by serving the ball by bouncing it off the net. Their teammate should then interact with the ball. The team has three interactions with the ball before it has to bounce off of the net again.  

Once a team bounces the ball off of the net, the other team will then begin their turn. The ball should not stop unless a team is unable to bounce it. When a player is unable to bounce the ball back, the other team scores a point. The other team will then be allowed to serve the ball, and the game continues in this manner.  

END OF GAME 

 The game comes to an end when a team has scored eleven points. This team are declared the winners!
