INTRODUCTION OF STRATEGY

Strategy is a very interesting Solitaire game in which success is set up during the deal.  In fact, the deal is the most important part in winning this game.  During the deal, players must strategically place cards in such a way that they can be played successfully in the final stage of the game.  Hence the name of the game, Strategy.

THE CARDS & THE LAYOUT

Strategy uses a standard 52 card French deck, and the layout is simple.  Shuffle the deck, and deal it out in its entirety into eight piles face up.  Each card is dealt one at a time, and you decide on which pile to place the card.  As the Aces show up, place them above the piles in a row.

THE PLAY

After the deal, the top card of each pile is available for play on the foundations.  Move cards one at a time from the layout piles to the foundation piles.  Foundations are built in ascending order according to suit.

WINNING

The game is won once all of the cards are in their appropriate foundation piles.
