OVERVIEW OF TWO TRUTHS AND A LIE FOR MOM

How much do you really know about your mom? Do you know about her teenage years, or the trouble that she got in when she was young? This is the family friendly, hilarious game to play to learn all about those moments! Everyone in the group will choose two truths and a lie about your mom. Every player has to vote and choose which one is the lie. Be strategic in your statements to ensure your win!

SETUP

There is hardly any setup needed for this game. The only thing that the players have to do before the game can begin is to choose a scorekeeper. That player will get the scorepad and the pencil. The players will sit in a circle, so that everyone is able to see everyone else, and they will collect a piece of paper. The game is then ready to begin!

GAMEPLAY

The players will take turns making statements about Mom. These statements can be about any mom in the group. The statements have to include two true statements and one false statement. The player who is stating these things should ensure that they keep a straight face when they are making their statements.

Once the player completes their statements, one by one, the players will write down which statement they believe is the false statement, the first, second, or third. After everyone has written their choice, the original player will announce which statement is false. The scorekeeper will check the papers. Each player that chooses the lie will score one point.

The next player will then begin their statements, and the same thing will happen again. The game will continue in this manner until the game comes to an end.

END OF GAME

The game will come to an end whenever the players choose to end the game. This can be predetermined before the game begins, or it can be when the players don’t have any more statements that they can make.

The scorekeeper will then tally the points and announce the winner. The player with the most points, wins the game!
