OVERVIEW OF ATTACHED AT THE HIP

attached at the hip

Attached At The Hip will get all your party-goers to get up and personal with each other. It doesn’t matter if it’s a group of close friends or a group of total strangers – everyone will have fun with this game!

SETUP

Before the game starts, write a list of 5 to 10 simple tasks that pairs of people can complete. Some examples of tasks include:

  • Feed each other three sips.
  • Touch each other’s toes.
  • Walk to the other side of the room.
  • Put lipstick on each other.

Then divide the group into pairs and have each pair write down a random body part on a slip of paper. The random body part can be small or big, but it must be an outer body part, such as an ear, leg, third finger, or shoulder. Each couple then puts their slip of paper into a bowl or hat to be mixed around.

GAMEPLAY

how to play attached to the hip

After mixing the slips, each couple should take a slip from the bowl. Each pair should read out the body part on their slip. Then the pairs must stay attached to the body part mentioned in the slip they picked from the bowl. For example, if the body part a pair picked is “right index finger,” their right index fingers must be touching at all times.

Depending on the body part, this game can be tricky, so each couple should make sure they stay attached at all times!

When every pair is appropriately attached according to their slips of paper, the fun begins! Go through the list of simple tasks written before the game starts and go through all of them one by one, from the very top.

If a pair is unable to complete a task or becomes unattached to each other, they are out and must finish their drinks. Every other pair can move on to the next task.

END OF GAME

Continue playing until there is only one pair remaining. The remaining couple is the winner of the game!
