INTRODUCTION OF MRS. CLAUS
Mrs. Claus puts a festive spin on the classic, Old Maid. In this game, players will draw cards from their opponents and collect sets of matching cards. Unlike Old Maid, the player who is left with Mrs. Claus at the end of the game wins!
THE CARDS & THE DEAL
To play Mrs. Claus, shuffle together 6 bulbs of each color, 6 bubble bulb cards, 8 plug cards, and 1 Mrs. Claus card. Deal out all of the cards one at a time. Some players might end up with more cards than others. That is okay.
THE PLAY
After the deal, all players place any matching pairs in front of them. Each pair can only have two cards.
The youngest player gets to go first. They draw one card at random from the player on their right. If they have any new pairs in their hand, those cards are played face up. Play passes left.
Play continues in this manner until all of the pairs have been played. One player will be left with the Mrs. Claus card.
WINNING
The player left holding the Mrs. Claus card is the winner.
