OVERVIEW OF TABOO DRINKING GAME
Taboo Drinking Game is one of those games that you can play throughout the whole night. Although the game may be incredibly simple in theory, it’s super easy to slip up – especially if you choose to make the taboo word something everyone will say at some point during the night. So, choose wisely! And get ready to trip over your own words, trying to work your way around the taboo word of the night.
GAMEPLAY
It’s best to start off the night with this game before you jump into any other shenanigans. That way, you’ll have all night to give out drinks to all who slip up and say the chosen taboo word!
All you need to play this game is a taboo word. But if you’re feeling up to it, you can add a second taboo word later on in the night. This chosen taboo word can be anything, but since the goal is the get the group drunk, maybe pick a word that is easy and is used super often in normal conversational and party settings.
Here are some examples of such taboo words to help get those gears running:
- You
- Me
- Drink
- Name of someone at the party
- Beer
- Shot
- Bathroom
- Game
- What
The taboo word is now banned. And any player caught saying the taboo word must take a drink! Or, if you’re feeling a bit risque, give out shots to those caught saying the banned word or words. The whole group will be feeling drunk in no time!
END OF GAME
The game ends when the party ends or whenever everyone is ready to dismiss the taboo words.
