INTRODUCTION OF TRAVELERS SOLITAIRE

Travelers Solitaire is a luck based solitaire game that challenges players to get all of the cards into their appropriate piles before the fourth King is exposed.  The nature of othe game is similar to Clockwork Solitaire with the setup being different.

THE CARDS & THE DEAL

Travelers Solitaire is played with a standard fifty two card deck.  In this game Aces are low and Kings are high.

Shuffle the cards and deal out thirteen piles of four cards.  The piles may be arranged in order to fit your playing space.  Each pile will correspond with a card rank, so determine which pile starts low (Ace) and which direction you are going to move towards the Kings.  It is easiest to just deal out one row of thirteen piles if you have enough playing space for it.

Once the cards are dealt, play may begin.

THE PLAY

Play begins by flipping the top card from the first pile over.  That card is then moved to the appropriate pile according to its rank.  For example, if you turned over a 7, that card is moved face up to the bottom of the 7 pile.  Then the player flips the top card of the 7 pile over and moves it to the appropriate pile.

Play continues with cards traveling to their approriate piles until all of the cards are in their proper place or the fourth King has been exposed.

WINNING

A player wins once all of the cards have traveled to their appropriate piles.  If the fourth and final King has been exposed before the end of the game, you lose.  Shuffle the cards and try again.
