1. NEVER HAVE I EVER
Starting off with an absolute classic. Never Have I Ever is a super simple game to play that requires no prep at all. To play this game, everybody starts with 5 or 10 fingers up, depending on how long you want the game to last. Then, players take turns stating one thing they have never done, starting the phrase with “Never have I ever…” If you’re not sure what to say, here are 250+ Never Have I Ever examples to get you started!
Then, whoever has done whatever is mentioned must put a finger down. Keep going around the circle until someone runs out of fingers!
2. TRUTH OR DARE
Truth or Dare is another classic girls’ night game. You have likely already played this game for years in all sorts of settings. It’s a great choice for a girls’ night as well. To play, players take turns picking an option: truth or dare. If they pick truth, they must answer a question. And if they pick dare, they must do what is asked of them. Pick carefully; you never know what your friends might make you answer or do!
Here are 250+ Truth or Dare ideas if you need help getting those creative gears rolling.

To play, first, set up the Jenga tower by placing three blocks on top of another three blocks perpendicularly until you use all the blocks. Then, players take turns removing one block from the tower and placing it on the top. The player that causes the tower to topple loses!
4. TWO TRUTHS AND A LIE
This is a great game to play if you’re having a girls’ night with some people you may not be overly familiar with. With people you know really well, this game can be hard to play as you’ll need to trip up your friends with which of your three statements is false. But if you think this would be a great option to play at a girls’ night, simply go around a circle stating three facts about yourself, one of which has to be a lie. Everyone else must try to guess which of the statements is a lie!
Here are some two truths and a lie examples if you’d like some creative ideas that might trip up even the closest of your friends!
5. CHARADES
One of the most iconic games to play on a girls’ night is charades. Simply have one girl at a time go up and act out something that everyone else must try to guess. The player who guesses first is the next player to mime another word or phrase that the other players must guess.
6. KARAOKE
While not necessarily a game, we simply could not miss out on adding karaoke to this list of the best girls’ night games. After all, there’s nothing better than firing up the TV with the karaoke version of your favorite songs so that you can belt out the lyrics like nobody’s business. Whether you’re singing Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, or Evanescence, you’ll no doubt have the time of your life singing your heart out to your favorite artists.
7. SCAVENGER HUNT
A scavenger hunt does require some planning beforehand, but if you are hosting the girls’ night, you can easily get this game set up without too much of a fuss.
In a designated area, hide objects and clues with the objects that lead them to another object. Then, give each of the players a clue to get them started on the hunt! The first player to find all the objects wins.
8. HEADS UP
Heads Up is a super popular phone game that anyone can download. Once you have the app on your phone, choose a deck, take the phone, and put it on your forehead. The app will place a word on your forehead that the other players will try to get you to guess without saying the actual word. Every time you guess the word correctly, tilt the phone down to pass onto the other word. If you cannot guess a word, feel free to skip to the next word by tilting the phone up to pass. The player who manages to guess the most words within a minute wins!
If you want to play this game competitively, divide the group into two teams that compete to get the most points.
9. BAKE-OFF
What’s a girls’ night without some sweets to chow down as you hang out with your friends? If you have a large enough kitchen, you can all bake together in teams or individually to compete for the best dessert. Alternatively, everyone can bring their desserts from home. Vote for the best dessert!
10. WHO AM I?
To play this game, all you need is a couple of pens/markers and some Post-it notes. Give each player a pen and a Post-it note and ask them to secretly write someone’s name. It can be someone real, fictional, dead, or alive. Then, have everybody stick their Post-it note to the forehead of another player.
Now, it’s time to start asking some yes or no questions! Keep asking yes or no questions until you figure out who is on your forehead.

If you want to really get the party started with your girls, why not play some drinking games so that you can all get a bit tipsy? Here are the best drinking games for girls’ night.
11. KING’S CUP
Let’s get started with a classic. King’s Cup, or Ring of Fire, is a super fun drinking game that you can play as long as you have alcohol on hand, as well as one cup and a deck of cards. Place the cards around an empty cup, then take turns removing one card from the pile, being careful not to break the circle of cards. As players remove cards from the circle, they must follow the rule each card has attached to it.
You can make your own rules for each card value or simply go with the classic rules you can find in our rules for King’s Cup.
12. DRUNK JENGA
Everybody loves to play Jenga, but you can easily turn this classic game into a drinking game by playing Drunk Jenga. To play this drinking game, grab a marker and write down rules on each of the Jenga blocks. Write rules like: give out one drink and take a shot to play Never Have I Ever or do 5 pushups. It’s up to you!
Then, play Jenga as normal, but anytime someone removes a block, they must follow the rule before they put the block on the top of the tower. Whoever causes the tower to fall must finish their drink!

14. MOST LIKELY
This is a great drinking game to play with the girlies if you don’t have any other materials in the house. All you need are your fingers and some imagination!
Players go around the circle, asking the group a question beginning with: Who is most likely to…? Examples include:
- Who is most likely to get the most drunk by the end of the night?
- Who is most likely to get married first?
- Who is most likely to have a one night stand?
Once a player asks a Most Likely question, everyone counts to three and then points to the player they believe the question best refers to. Every player drinks the number of fingers they have pointed at themselves.
15. SHOT ROULETTE
If you are looking to have a wild night with your girls, shot roulette may be the perfect game! Similar to the standard roulette casino game, in which you spin a wheel that lands on random numbers, shot roulette is purely a game of chance.
To play this drinking game, fill 10 to 20 shot glasses with different types of alcohol (or non-alcoholic drinks). Then, place the shot glasses in a circle. The drinks should vary in abv. For example, you can fill some with strong liquors (vodka, whisky, rum.) and others with lower abv drinks (beer, wine, seltzers).
Put an empty wine bottle in the center of the table and take turns spinning the bottle. You must down whatever shot the wine bottle points to!
16. DRUNK PICTIONARY
Did you know there’s a drinking game version of Pictionary you can play? Drunk Pictionary is a super simple game to play that’ll get everyone pretty tipsy in no time at all.
Play this game as you normally would, with one player drawing something on a piece of paper. Then, everybody else must try to guess what the drawer is drawing. For every 10 seconds that pass, everybody must take a shot or take a sip from their drink! There are also variations in which the drawer must drink for every 10 seconds the other players are unable to guess what they are drawing.
17. BEER PONG
One of the most classic drinking games you might want to consider playing with the girlies is Beer Pong. To play this college drinking game, all you’ll need are some plastic cups and 2 ping pong balls. Then, set up 10 cups on either end of a long table in a pyramid form to get started. The 10 cups should be filled with alcohol.
Two teams of two play against each other in this game. The two teams take turns throwing the two ping pong balls into the cups of the other team from their side of the table. If they manage to throw a ball into an opposing team’s cups, the opposing team must drink the cup and remove it from the pyramid formation. The first team to remove all 10 of their opponents’ cups wins!

18. 21
21 is a super easy game to play at first glance, but once you start playing, you’ll notice just how difficult it can be to count to 21! With everybody sitting in a circle, start off by counting from 1 to 21, with each player saying one number. The player that says 21 must take a drink and make a new rule for a number of the game. Examples of rules include:
- Skip 3
- Switch 9 and 10
- Jump at 18
- Drink at 12
Every time a player gets to 21, they make another new rule! As you keep adding rules, someone is bound to mess up! Whenever someone messes up, they must take a drink and restart the round from number 1 again.
19. DRINK IF…
